Lahey Health at Home Monitoring Services is an increasingly important and popular benefit for those wishing to maintain security, independence and peace of mind for themselves or loved ones living alone, and those at risk for falls or recuperating at home from an illness or surgery. The service is available to all residing within our service area, which stretches from Newburyport to Saugus and includes all the communities of Essex County.
This service enables you to get emergency help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the push of a personal help button even when your phone is out of reach. The help button is small, lightweight and waterproof, and can be worn as either a wristband or a pendant.
Locally monitored by Philips Lifeline, the leader in personal response service since 1974, the response center uses state-of-the-art technology to keep you and those you care about safe at home. All calls are answered by highly trained personal response associates who, while reassuring subscribers on the line, can dispatch emergency services or send family and friends to assist.
The service is offered on a monthly rental basis; there is no equipment to buy and no long-term contract is required.
Medication Management Assistance
To facilitate medication management for individuals who have trouble remembering, organizing and taking their medicines, we also install easy-to-use personal medication dispensing systems in clients’ homes. These dispense solid oral medications in addition to providing verbal and text reminders for non-oral medications and specific medication directions. Each can hold up to 40 days of medication.
The Medication Management System is also offered on a monthly rental basis; there is no equipment to buy and no long-term contract is required.
